Ubuntu – Display Current GIT Hub Branch Name in Terminal

Copy Below script and paste in .bashrc or .bash_profile file.
You can find these files at /home/

 git branch 2> /dev/null | sed -e '/^[^*]/d' -e 's/* \(.*\)/(\1)/'
}
if [ "$color_prompt" = yes ]; then

   [\033[01;34m\]\w\[\033[01;31m\]$(parse_git_branch)\[\033[00m\]\$'
